About
Mission Byram is a ministry of Country Woods Baptist church and partners with places like Kroger and Walmart to provide for the needs of people in the community. The people come in and sit down with "counselors" who pray for them and listen. This provides a chance to share the gospel with people who may desperately need to hear it. Mission Byram also provides a medical table where community members can have basic health checked (ie. blood pressure, heart rate, etc.). There is also a clothes closet and a food pantry where they get two bags of groceries and a box with more food. Volunteers put the groceries on carts and take them out to the cars.
Opportunities
Mission Byram is open the mornings of the first and third Saturdays of the month and the following Tuesdays. It is also open the evenings of the first and third Wednesdays of each month. People are needed to work the Front Table, Counselors Tables, Medical Table (Bring Your Own Stethoscope), Clothes Closet, Line Traffic Directors, Food Pantry, and be on Cart Duty.
